Join us at the Parramatta Library for an exciting day of exploration and learning at our STEM Discovery Day! This hands-on event invites children and teens to dive into the world of robotics, coding, and engineering through age-appropriate activities tailored for curious minds.
Hands-on Activities
From interactive coding projects to creative challenges, each session offers a unique opportunity for young learners to discover STEM in a supportive, fun environment. Various robots, maker boards, and coding tools will be available for students to tinker with inspiring curiosity and sparking new interest in STEM.
Meet award-winning FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team and Robot
We are excited to introduce students and parents to award-winning FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) team #19218 WeLoveSTEM (and the robot), who will share insights about their journey, achievements, and the exciting world of competitive robotics.
Challenge Yourself on the Competition Fields
Additionally, the day will feature FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) and FTC fields, where students can apply their learning hands-on by experimenting with robots and solving challenges on the competition fields. This unique experience allows attendees to immerse themselves in the exciting world of robotics competitions, explore engineering solutions, and ignite their interest in STEM.
Why should Parents be left out?
Parents are encouraged to join in with the activities or interact with experts to explore:
- How parents can support STEM learning at home.
