In light of the current lockdown and potential restrictions once the lockdown is lifted, our term 3 Coding and Robotics workshops will be conducted online via Zoom for students in years 2 and above. See Kindy/Year 1 program note below.

This is the same arrangement we had in place last year with many of our students and parents already familiar with the experience. Here are a few key points on how it works:

1. Existing students will continue learning from where they left in term 2. New students will commence from the beginning. We will be covering the same program / activities that we would have covered in the face to face settings. Please note that the activities will be adjusted for the Robotics program as we will be working with a virtual robot.
2. The programs will be live and instructor-led and it will be the same team who would have worked with students in the face to face workshops.
3. Students will require a computer with internet connection and headsets. Students will be required to share their screen from time to time for our instructors to assist the students but students’ video conferencing will not be used at any time for security/privacy reasons.
4. Existing students who were enrolled with us in term 2 do not need to register again, you just pay the reduced term 3 fees. See fee note below.
5. Workshops commence from next week 19th July and will continue for 8 weeks. We will send Zoom links to registered parents late this week.
6. There will be 4 online sessions to choose from:

   1.   Monday – From 5.30pm to 7pm

   2. Tuesday – From 5pm to 6.30pm

   3. Wednesday – From 5.30pm to 7pm

   4. Friday – From 4.30pm to 6pm

      Please complete this form to advise us which session your child will attend. Please note that you will attend the same day/time each week though if you need to change the day at a later date, you can fill the same form again.

7. Our FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Challenge and FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) teams will continue online as well. A separate email will be sent to the parents with more details.
8. Fees -> Parents will pay reduced fees for online workshops. If you have already paid for the face to face program, then the difference will be kept as credit to use in future terms.

Whilst we have been approached by many parents to offer this program online, we believe there is very little value we can add to our younger students and hence we will not be offering this program online. We will resume this program in person once the restrictions are lifted. Any fees paid will be kept as a credit to use in future terms.

2. For new students -> Please complete a new registration form.
3. Pay the fees if you have not done so already.

If the restrictions are lifted sooner, we will return to face to face workshops earlier.
