Transition to STEM School

At the Australian Academy of Robotics and STEM Education, we are proud to lead the way in innovative STEM education. What sets us apart is our unique and mature approach to learning. While many organisations focus mainly on building models or basic programming, we focus on developing essential skills.

This focus has resulted in the long-term involvement of our students and their families. Many of our participants have been with us for several years, and this encourages us to introduce new programs and activities to keep them engaged and challenged.

This long-term involvement and feedback has led us to developing potentially an Australian first STEM School approach. We will soon transition from our current program-based structure—where students focus on a single subject like coding or robotics—to a more comprehensive, school-like model that offers a well-rounded STEM education.

STEM School Transition – Parent Information Guide
  • Build Capabilities – Our goal is to create a true STEM school experience, where students develop capabilities (skills) across multiple disciplines in a structured and progressive manner.
  • Progressive & Structured Learning – Instead of focusing on a single area or subject each year, students will explore a variety of topics, including coding, robotics, electronics, and engineering.
  • Diverse Curriculum – This diverse curriculum will culminate in a hands-on project that integrates and reinforces their learning throughout the year.
  • Enhanced Personalisation – As parents, we take great pride in offering a personalised experience for both our students and their families. We are committed to enhancing this approach even further.

This new approach aligns with our philosophy of taking students “From Curiosity to Capability,” nurturing their interest in STEM while equipping them with practical skills for the future.

Transition Plan

  • In Term 1 (current Term), we will continue with the existing structure while initiating a soft launch of our new resources and activities. During this time, we will gather valuable feedback from parents and students as well as develop personalised learning plans for those enrolled in Term 1.
  • Term 2: The new learning structure will be officially implemented starting in Term 2. We will continuously monitor its effectiveness and make refinements.

Fee Update / Early Bird Offer

To reflect the new structure, there will no longer be different fees for different programs/grades. Starting from February 23, the enrolment fee for all grades will be $349.99 per term of 8 weeks.

To show our appreciation for our current parent community, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to register and secure your spot for Term 1 at the current fees before this date.

We are proud to have offered a range of Value Added Services to our parents and students, and we remain committed to enhancing and delivering these exceptional offerings.

We Invite Your Feedback

As we embark on this transition, we want to ensure that it meets the needs of our students and families. Term 1 will serve as a vital period for gathering your feedback on this new approach and refine the details of the transition. Just like many of our long-term families, your active involvement in your child’s education can make a significant difference. Please provide your feedback through the form below, it takes a minute!

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss how this change will benefit your child, please feel free to reach out.
