Preventing Bushfires

Bushfire prevention such as firebreaks can stop fires spreading and, if tied into roads, can also help take away the roughly hard fires

To stop bushfires you can do this:

• Use smoke alarms. By law, every home must have at least one smoke alarm on each level
• Have a secure home
• Fire appliances
• Don’t light up flames
• Water
• Stop climate change
• Stop using oil factories

Here is how you keep your home secure:

• Have fire appliances such as a fire alarm
• Don’t put wood anywhere in house
• Close all windows and doors
• Clear all dry leaves and dry grass [which are long as well]
• Remove flammable materials [out and in of your house]
• Don’t use anything that can catch on fire
• Move fire equipment to a place it won’t get burnt
• Have many water buckets
