Our STEM School Approach
How we moved from single-subject programs to a full STEM School model, and what that means for your child's learning.

At the Australian Academy of Robotics and STEM Education, we take pride in leading the way in innovative STEM education. What sets us apart is our unique, mature approach to learning. While many organisations focus mainly on building models or basic programming, we focus on developing essential skills.
This focus has resulted in long-term involvement from our students and their families. Many of our participants have been with us for several years, which encourages us to keep introducing new programs and activities to keep them engaged and challenged.
That long-term involvement and feedback led us to develop an Australian-first STEM School approach — moving from a program-based structure, where students focus on a single subject like coding or robotics, to a more comprehensive, school-like model that offers a well-rounded STEM education.
Build Capabilities – Our goal is a true STEM school experience, where students develop capabilities across multiple disciplines in a structured, progressive manner.
Progressive & Structured Learning – Instead of focusing on a single area each year, students explore a variety of topics, including coding, robotics, electronics and engineering.
Diverse Curriculum – This diverse curriculum culminates in a hands-on project that integrates and reinforces learning throughout the year.
Enhanced Personalisation – We take pride in offering a personalised experience for students and families, and remain committed to deepening that approach.
This approach reflects our philosophy of taking students “From Curiosity to Capability,” nurturing their interest in STEM while equipping them with practical skills for the future.
We welcome feedback from our parent and student community as we continue to refine this approach — if you have questions or would like to discuss how it benefits your child, please get in touch.
